This one hit me pretty hard. As someone who is a lifelong boxing fan and boxed as a teen, I always had a lot of respect for Steward. A lot of boxers come from tough backgrounds and many come with no father figure in their lives. Steward filled that void at Kronk gym in Detroit and was there for a lot of these kids. He was a great trainer, a great analyst, and a class act. When I order my next PPV fight and watch it with my dad I'm gonna miss hearing his voice and his analysis. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
