i didnt want the teacher lady to die...i liked her
poor emma
I know! What a jerk Norman is to be stuck on Bradley. I think Bradley's quite obnoxious. Emma is a much better person and she's pretty too!

Too bad! That was the real kicker at the end. First you just see a blood trail and then slowly the camera pans til you see the teacher dead on the floor with her throat slit.

yes... to me the writing in this show is so subtle then... boom you realize you're obsessed with these characters and you've been manipulated to feel a certain way about them... like i feel sorry for poor sweet Norman the murderer, and i'm in love with the psycho mother...

As I was massaging my 15 year old son's calves last night (they were sore from basketball) and he was in turn rubbing my feet, I thought to myself... hey! when is Bates coming back?
turns out.. the answer is March 3rd.

Vera Farmiga, who played Norma, was the big surprise of the show? I would never have thought someone could make his mother so interesting. She is very charismatic, and adds a lot to the show.
Freddie Highmore as Norman Bates was perfect for the part. he did a great job. I couldn't help but like him.
And then Olivia Cooke as Emma who was also a surprise, and likable.
I think this show is going to separate itself from the movies , in what it does with the characters. the movies were simplistic, and this show is more complex and detailed, so it has to be different, plus updated. this show quickly became a favorite of mine and I am glad it got a S-2.
So who killed Norman's dad? Norman or Norma? I also thought the name thing was funny, Norman is Norma if you take off the n. Stuffing the dog was good and explained his keeping his mother later on. This show however is all about the development, I dont see them killing Norma off until the show is ending. I also liked that they had norman fall in love and then that girl coldly dumps him, which then has a effect on him.

i agree with ya..i love norma..and i feel bad because i feel like im not supposed too lol..but think that is how the show was designed...i also didnt realize the is the sister of the american horror story girl too..
i wonder why it took so long to produce a second season though...what do you think?

I agree - Norma is absolutely perfect. she is nutty and beautiful and funny and charming... I absolutely adore her. and Norman is the perfect amount of awkward.
I think Norman killed his Dad. and I agree - I hope they keep Norma till the very end.

When I heard season 2 was going ahead, I marathoned it. I am impressed, I must say. Good acting and writing. His dead teacher is spot on like a manager at my work.

ohhhh how I love this show. I was watching Norma last night and honestly she amazes me either the actress or the writing I don't know. with all the pain she's in she puts on this beautiful sparking smile and no one would be the wiser that she's so turmoiled. reminds me of how I feel this week
Norman - WOW while I have seen the movie eons ago - I was quite surprised when he started talking as if he were his mother! and he was rubbing his leg .. the same one where she got burned...oy!!!
and his poor brother that kid really got the short end of everything. he needs a hug.
Norman Is really starting to act like Norma's husband in how he comforts her
