Actually, the '83 loss of the Phillies to the O's in the WS is one of my earliest baseball memories. We were in my grandfather's car on the way to dinner and listening to it on the radio. I was only 8 so I was surprised and disappointed that there wouldn't be anymore baseball on after that.

If only I'd known then that that would be the first of many heartaches lol2
