In the season finale Ichabod uncovers the secret of Washington's Bible and sets out with Abbie to find a map that will lead them to the gateway between Earth and Purgatory. However, to acquire the map they will need Henry Parrish's help. Meanwhile, Irving realizes that his family hasn't escaped unscathed from the demon's attack at the safehouse, and must sacrifice himself to save his daughter.
