they're due for a loss

if they were the Phillies I would be wishing they had dropped at least one game in the series to get it out of the way.

In other news, I really miss caring about the playoffs.

It's hard work.

next year it will be the sox and the phillies......well maybe not the phillies, but I think the sox will be a much more competitive team next year....no facts to back that up, just a feeling

or somebody, i'd trade some prospects for chris sale, but it would take alot. I just don't think they will spend more money than they would have had to to keep him in the first place, but you never know.

they definitely need at least, AT LEAST, 2 front line starters, and then hope bucholz is back in form and a couple of the young'ens can step up

you could use him about now. hopefully wainwright has enough left in the tank tonight.

I like him, he is a pretty solid pitcher, whom I forgot about.

but they still need at least 2 starters.

I am waiting for something anything to happen. Hopefully we'll get that Cuban outfielder. There's not much to chose from on the market.

Of course out biggest moves could be addition by subtraction. Losing Howard and brown could be the biggest improvements of all.

Hope the Royals just sweep their entire playoff run. At least I can still root for a team in my state.

Is there anything more infuriating than a hitter swinging at the first pitch with the bases loaded? Especially if the hitter in front of you walked?

that';s the AJ pierzinski method of hitting, most of the time it resulted in a inning ending double play Mad

That was the phillies way last season as well. They actually had a fair amount of base runners, just none if them scored :|

I really can't stand the fox broadcasters.  The giants are down by FIVE runs but having two base runners apparently puts them "right back in it".

This has been a fantastic World Series. I'm not usually into it but I'm really pulling for San Fran to lose.

Royals are killing it in the second. Hopefully their pitching can hold it.

I was so glad they did a tribute to Oscar last night....the fountain was even red. I watched most of the game last night and was surprised at how excited I was to see the Royals absolutely killing it. Here's to hoping they win game 7!

I've never understood rioting when you win, why destroy your community because you are World Champs? Makes absolutely no sense to me.
