| It's speculated Trey Burke will jump to the NBA in the coming draft as well These kids are cutting off their noses to spite their faces, to use a cliche...no guarantee they'll make it big in the pro's. Very VERY few work out like Isaih Thomas, who went pro after only two college years. |

Derek, I just wonder if these kids are emotionally mature enough to handle the instant money, the instant adulation that comes with it...the NBA is littered with failure stories of kids who come to the pro's too soon, who couldn't...or they experience a career ending injury in their first season...and then what do they do with the rest of their lives? |

| i know thats what im saying..is if he fails...he still has his education...he'll have a degree and be able to try to find good work if it doesnt work out...most kids ..it doesnt work like that...they completely blow off college and jus go in ...
shit to be honest..some of those kids shouldnt have ever got a chance to go to college..its always been something that bothers me....the full ride thing jus for being able to be an athlete...while others struggle for money that want to educate their selves.
anyway...the Zeller family is very moral..very educated...and all around great people...he was on honor role ..deans list etc during his stay at IU | |

| i gave up baseball in highschool because i realized it wasnt going to help for college..i wasnt good enough for a scholarship ....so i felt like i was doing a job playing and was no longer having fun playing the game..so i jus gave it up..and focused on graphics and got a part time job..its crazy how much i have paid for school so far...not sure if its worth it or not...so it irritates me that some idiot that never took class serious but can jump high and shoot well or hit homers can just get a free education...education and sports shouldnt coincide with benefits...imo | |
