she is a candidate for an award methinks

good vs evil has always been represented as BLACK & WHITE in movies and TV (LOST anyone)

in MAD Magazine even SPY vs SPY was always black & white

None of this matters since people refuse to accept scientific facts.

FACT: There is only one race living on this planet, its called the human race. The color of your skin and your culture is your heritage.

It shouldn;t be called being a racist, it should be called being an intolerant asshole of a human

. the color of your skin has more to do with where your ancestors were born and over the millenia the body adapted to it's environment, dark skinned people are dark skinned becase they spent much more time in climates where they spent much more time exposed to the elements and therefore their bodies developed darker skin to adapt to it. it's kinda why swedish people and people that live in cold climates and where the sun doesn't shine as much and where it's colder the skin is whiter. you stay covered up in an elk skin 300 days a year and you are gonna be lighter skinned than if you are wrapped in a lioncloth sweatin your balls off in the desert.

Exactly. So unless they can prove that certain people have DNA in them of a humanoid other than homo sapien we are all of the same race.

This is pretty neat!

An old friend of mine just finished seeing it (She lives in Sweden).

Fan FUCKING tastic is pretty much her review. Laughs, tears and complete joy at seeing the original cast back.

she was nice and didn't spoil it for anyone.

I may go see this Christmas eve, in the afternoon if I get out of work early. I'll have to go alone since John "hates" Star Wars. Surprised

I will likely wait till its out on video, my only friend that ever goes to movies is going on Friday lol I am surprised he was even able to get tickets since they went on sale a month ago.

I am getting pumped for the Hateful 8, but of course Edmonton is not showing the 70mm version. Hoping that changes before its released

well you need to put a review up on the board, no spoilers of course, just let us know how good it was. from everything i've read, it seems to unanimous that it is a great movie.

And yeah i do want to see it in IMAX, i'll see if I can get a home equity loan and buy a couple tickets.

at this point it may be March before you can get tickets.

just another reason to hate people, first you can't go because there will be too many of them around, then you have to hope that they have enough common sense to not reveal the entire friggin plot on facebook not even thinking that the entire planet has NOT seen the movie yet.

holy shit! I just checked out the prices and apparently it is almost $18 for a ticket!

I feel so old - I know it wasn't nearly that much the last time I went

the theater now has recliner seats though, they didn't have that before either

are you going in a VIP theatre or AVX??

3D is usually the most expensive, then AVX which is better sound, picture and seats, and then we also have VIP theatres where everything is better and you order food from your seat, including alcohol

although they do have the 3D showings but I actually think that may be too distracting, at least for a first showing

Ok, out freaking standing movie. It lives up to the original trilogy and blows all of the prequels out of the water, I would say it is definitely one of the top 3 of the series. JJ did not disappoint! There were a couple of LOST cameos, Miles and the original Pilot were both in it. I think Rey is my favorite of the new characters, but they all were pretty awesome. It sets up for Episode VIII perfectly, the only disappointment was that we now have to wait 2 more years for the story to continue, if you are a Star Wars fan you MUST see this in the theater. Best crowd reaction was when Han and Chewie appeared on screen the first time. I don't want to post anything else because that would be spoilerish. I am going on 3 hours of sleep and it was totally worth it!
