Seems the world copied itself in or around 1987. I'm wondering if Chernobyl played a role in that.

I started watching this series tonight. A lot better than I thought it would, tho I knew with JK Simmons it would have to be decent at least. I love all the departments not trusting each other, so reminds me of a job I had back in 94.

The topic is just interesting enough to keep me going. Notice how jk Simons plays the two characters. One is a mouth breather and the other isn't.

As in, only one reality but at different points in time? I'm trying to remember if we've seen anyone (the same person) in both levels, since they'd then be at different ages.

If that was the last episode for the season, that's the most low-key season finale I've ever seen, I think. I'll be watching if there's a second one, though I have to confess that I spend too much time wondering which Howard I'm looking at, which gets in the way of following the plot.
