Star Trek: Picard Empty
PostSubject: Star Trek: Picard   Star Trek: Picard EmptyFri Jan 24, 2020 1:57 pm

Watched the premiere episode of this new Star Trek vehicle. It's on the All Access portion of CBS programming.
First of all, after watching it, I was forced to go look in the mirror. Man, have we gotten old.
Data (Brent Spiner), who also makes a cameo has also gotten old. Which doesn't make sense, since he's an android.  ?

Something else from the past is, the Federation's hatred of the Romulan's. I won't go into details until others have had a chance to watch.

As I understand it, this will be a weekly series, with (1) episode dumped every Thursday.

Let me know what you think?

Data died in the last awful NG film.

I think i'm not paying for their streaming service.

I think i have difficulty staying interested in newish Star Trek (everything after TNG) except for the Star Trek Continues Webisodes that Mr. Bill's sig used to advertise.

Nonetheless i think i'll read this thread.

Believe me, I don't blame you.  hai

But, you should be able to find it "somewhere" on the NET. Let me know if you have difficulty.

First off, I don't want anyone to think I'm getting a kick-back on every All Access pass I get people to sign up for, but I've got another reason to sign-up immediately. With the pass, you'll be able to stream every Star Trek series (Original, TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, Discovery, and Picard) and every episode.

One other thing I forgot to mention after watching the premiere of Picard. Jeri Ryan will reprise her role as Seven of Nine:
