he was in the minors, they signed him earlier this year, but had to bring him up. I said the same thing when I heard they signed him

he was competing for a spot here but Juan Pierre won it

Posednik was killing it in spring training, not sure why they went with Pierre. although he has done a nice job for us so far

The sox are 1-0 finally 2 days before the start of friggin hurricane season, they have breached the mediocre level But a good game from bard, and they did it against verlander, I'm mildly impressed.

Pedroia has a torn muscle in his thumb, but wants to try and play with the injury. I expect he'll be on the DL, have screw put in his hand and be out come the all-star break

we snapped our 12 game losing streak and one our last 2 at least lol..against the padres who are just as terrible record wise...

12 games~!...that a lot of losing

Howard, Utley, Halladay, Worley, Stutes, Herndon - is that it? Worley should be back next week in time to cover for Roy. We knew we'd be in a pickle without the first two. Herndon isn't really a big deal but not having a healthy Stutes has hurt the bullpen.

Ruiz is banged up, Polanco has been banged up for 3 years now.

My list seems light though. Forgot about Nix - he was starting to heat up, then got hurt. figures

ours is better too. Contreras and Bastardo are back to form so for the most part, the 7th and 8th are taken care of. We normally don't need much more than that.


We finally won a series against the Mets

Miami is next - we need to start beating our division.

I don't think so. I like Jamie but pitching is probably the one thing we're not looking for right now. Too many other holes and we have options at AAA

i bet someone does, he's still good as middle reliever, he can give you innings

yes as a reliever


having batters going from normal 88-92 fast ball range down to 80 is a tough adjustment. He came out of the pen for us a couple of times and just baffled hitters.

we just completed our very first 3 game win streak lol...our first 3 game sweep..watch out now!

Craig should be back...I think that's the only real good news we have...Garcia went back to STL for an MRI but it turned out ok, but he's missing a start, well they're pushing everyone up a start I suppose...We're finally off today....then we'll be playing the Mets..
