And then Chooch went yard right behind him der is hope in the city of brotherly love( I've often found that slogan funny) yeah but it was short lived - they lost. any day designated as a bull pen day is bad yes, hope is back and more on the way: Howard's 20 day clock starts today or tomorrow. then, Halladay will be back and we'll see what we have. still 9 games out but I remember in 2010 we were 7 or so back at the deadline so we know its doable.

hard to believe you don't have a million in your farm system - you've had to be at the top of the draft for years. look at Washington - they're now loaded.

| no can do As a life long Philly fan, I have pledged to get upset and scream and yell at my team one minute and love them the next. We also joke that we order Xanax and Tums by the pallet to get thru the season And to think, pitching was supposed to be a strong point We dropped 2 from our pen this morning. | |

| lost 1-0 in the bottom of the ninth, on a day when everyone else in the division also lost . great pitching last night from Morales, not too shabby from a bullpen guy. | |

they lost it on a play at the plate, a single to right, a perfect throw from right field by Cody ross, and salty either dropped the ball or never had it when he made the tag. the guy would've been out by a mile if he held onto it.
