No ma'am. Not at all. I think I told JJ that.
Just ignore me completely....unless you want to talk about college football!!
I DO read sports news though. I'm aware of what is going on around the league.

We were in the middle of the game....I don't think the Detroit/Yankee game ever started.

Well, it looks like Detroit will be going to the World Series! It's 6-1 in the stretch...

Not sure how happy i am, I mean he's better than Valentine, but honestly, in 2 years of managing, he won 81 games, and 73 games. if the sox hadn't been soo bad this year, he would have had the worst record in the AL East. Hopefully he can at least get the pitching turned around a little, but I still think it is gonna be a long year again next year.

My main concern is the pitching, I believe(wishful thinking) That Farrell will get it fixed, and everything else will fall in line after that.

Yeah i hope so too, but he won't be able to spend all his time on pitching being the manager. he will help, but they have a hundred other holes to fill, and he didn't exactly spit shine the jay's pitching over the last couple of years. Don't get me wrong, i think he's a good fit, i just don't think he's the saviour people are making him out to be.

No probably not, but he did finish better than the Sox with an inferior roster.

Well, it's not looking good. We should have won game 5. Amazing season and playoff run that I never even expected (again). Detroit in 5.

I can't believe San Fran won. I didn't think they were that good.
I'm ready for the off season to begin

We need to pick up some pieces first
actually, we have a couple of guys almost major league ready but they were in AA last year and I don't see them letting too many bypass a level in the same year
I expect Darin "Babe" Ruf to skip AAA

Nah, they weren't....We shoulda won Game 5 at home against friggin' Zito. That error killed them and they never recovered.
On the bright side....I guess I can start breathing again.

So...
Ozzie Guillen was fired
Bobby V is still talking shit on his (former) players. Now its Ortiz who is in his cross hairs.

all i got out of that interview was Bobby said it was his fault, then spent the entire rest of the interview giving reasons why it wasn't. if i was Ortiz, looking for a contract, knowing it wouldn't matter if i hit 40 homeruns in the last month, and running the risk of not ever playing again, i would've sat down and healed my achilles too.

It's probably too fresh for you to watch, but I have to admit that it was nice to be able to watch the post season for the love of the game and not have a stroke during every play
