You don't scare us

especially now tongue

Theres a big difference between Seattle and Philly, just saying. Cool

don't make excuses now

we're still kind of an unknown in some areas - we'll see

I think they'll turn out better than is even expected. Chip Kelly really has turned things around - every player is on board - lots of good stuff should happen this year.

he is a good coach, and if he can get the players to buy in, they will be good. he changed college football, and if he can get the pros t follow him they will be a force.

Offensively they will be great, questions on defense, playing in the worst division in the NFL will help, I think Washington is their only competition

No excuses, I don't think anyone would have beaten Seattle last night

I don't follow football as closely as baseball but I've heard that more NFL coaches are looking at his systems

its a crazy fast offense - almost hard to follow sometimes

I think the only division worse may be the AFC east. other than new england, the rest of the teams will struggle to get to 500.

the J E T S will somehow blow up, and Buffalo and Miami are shells of NFL teams

the big news here is brady didn't practice yesterday because of a cal;f injury.

someone said he was faking it because they traded mankins lol4 facepalm

I can see Gisele faking it, but not brady tongue

but you are right, it is New england's to lose.

I see them and denver as the 2 top afc teams, with possibly indy making a run.

but the conference is weaker than the nfc in general.

the nfc west is stacked

it goes in waves, i remember when the NFC was dominate in the NFL, then for years the AFC had stronger teams, now it's back to the NFC. baseball will come back, Boston philly and Ny have too much money for it not to.

probably not, but usually the QB is there for the thursday practice. i'm sure he will play, but it drove all the fans around here into a frenzy.

pretty much nothing, when they win, it should have been by more points, or if it was a blowout they should have taken the starters out earlier. if they lose, everyone that has anything to do with the team needs to be fired immediately or traded because they are worthless bums 55

it's quite humorous to listen to on the radio, people have wayyyyy tooo much time on their hands

You would think I would be disappointed after last nights' game , but Im not, it's a long season and The NFC west will beat each other up so I don't think Homefield comes out of there, and while Seattle is good, they aren't as good on the road.

hey you're talkin to a Canadian

8 out of 10 cups of coffee sold in Canada come from Tim Hortons even though there is a Starbucks on every conceivable corner in Canada

Starbucks is good for cleaning lead acid battery terminals and that is about it

http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/ray-rice-released-baltimore-ravens-contract-terminated-090814

ravens released ray Rice after the release of the video.

while it's the right thing to do, it should have been done long ago, they had to have seen the video when this whole story first came out and they should have done it then, not wait until everyone else saw it and went apeshit about it.

there is no way the NFL or the ravens did NOT see that video. the fact that it was just released to the public is one thing, But I have to believe that both the NFl; and the ravens front office had seen that video long before today.

he flat out cold cocked her, and it appears he even spit in her face. if you haven't seen it, theright before he hits her the first time, it looks like he spit in her face and that's why she lunged at him..

I am not defending Ray Rice, but he was already punished for his offense, I am surprised the players union hasn't went up in arms about him being suspended indefinitely now. And just last week they set the new guidelines for the punishment, so it still shouldn't be indefinite, at the most it should be 4 more games.

It won't ever really matter until the owners of these teams stop giving out lucrative contracts to criminals, thugs whatever you want to call these guys. This unfortunately will blow over and he'll make millions more I'm sure.

I don't think he'll play again, he is talented, but not talented enough to put up with the bullshit that will come with him signing with a team. the protests and publicity will be a factor.

If he was say aaron rodgers who did it ( not to say he ever would do anything like that ) he wouldn't have been released in the first place, he would go to rehab and be back with the team, but a 31 year old running back in a passing league, I think he might never play again.

there are too many yunger running backs that can do what he does that won't come with the baggage.

I agree he was already punished, but i'm saying the punishment should have been stronger from the start, unless noone saw the video, which again i have a real hard time believing.

They had the video of him outside the elevator, no way they didn't see the video inside it, which is pretty damning evidence.

the team and the NFL got caught with their pants down on this, for some reason thinking that the video would never come out.

They got put in a position that they had to do something to cover their ass, probably why Goodell came up with the new suspensions, hwe was probably told that the video would be coming out and had to make that statement before it did.

the players union won't defend him, they can't without looking like they condone the assault. the players themselves i think for the most part don't want him playing so he is on an island at the moment.

she spit on him then he lunged at her - if that's the case she's as bad as he is

not that spitting is the same as a man hitting a woman but that's disgusting and does give her some responsibility in the matter

fights are rarely one sided, usually the woman keeps pushing buttons and at times can even be the aggressor, to me there is NO EXCUSE, no man hits a woman like he hit her, not ever.

punch the wall, grab her arms and hold her down, whatever you want, you do not haul off and throw a left cross that would have taken down sugar ray leonard, you just do not do it under any circumstances.

New footage looks like he spit on her first, which led to her spitting on him, If the NFL really had the tape all this time Goodell should be fired

I really find it hard to believe that they didn't.

they have alot more resources to find out information about this kind of thing than TMZ does, they have whole floors of investigators and ex cops and lawyers, i would find it impossible to fathom that did not have access to this tape, if not immediately, certainly before TMZ got it. I think the only reason goodell came out with the new policy is that he found out that TMZ was going to release the tape and he better do something before it becomes public.

he'll get fired if the sponsors start turning on the league. as long as the money keeps coming in the owners won't fire him, but if it comes out that he knew about this tape and still gave a 2 game suspension, I believe the sponsors and owners will turn on him and he will be fired.

how did they find out in the first place if they didn't see the tape? or is it just the actual punch that is causing this ruckus? I remember reading how the Ravens's staff and coaches were praising Rice's behaviour since the "incident" so they knew something a while ago.

on another note, how much more of this video is there that there's still more coming out?

some law enforcement dude said that the whole video was sent to the league offices in April

if they covered it up the commish should be fired

the CEO of a multinational catering company was fired when a video of him beating his dog in an elevator was released

So now Adrian Peterson has been indicted on child endangerment. Couldn't have picked a better time.
