Yep, green again! I don't know if you're an original series Star Trek fan, but I'd definitely recommend checking out some of the web series (there's a link in my sig.) It's a fan film series, but made to a professional level and has some pretty good guest stars. eta: For you Whovians, Colin Baker (The 6th Doctor) and Nicola Bryant (Peri Brown) have guest starring roles (different episodes). | I loved TOS growing up, i've seen every episode a few times, but i haven't rewatched any of it since the late 80's. I enjoyed TNG overall though there were seasons and episodes that i didn't care for. I never got into DSN nor STV. I liked the films with TOS cast, and the TNG film; haven't seen JJ's reboots.
I was following your STC thread at ltv-f, as well as the STD thread. I'll give STC a chance. Right now.

| Too late.
ETA: Maybe not, i'm going to try changing my title to reflect it's FW nature, rather than be a GD thread. I'm not sure such fine distinctions are really all that important here, but wth.

| "Familiar" is obviously based on S.King's "It". Interesting that King also wrote an episode of the X-Files, the 5th season episode, "Chinga", about an evil doll. | |

| Familiar alluded to everything. I still liked it. Some for the madcap alluding. I also liked the oh you think you can control evil element. | |

| I missed it too.
I'm afraid this season has lost me as far as feeling like i need to see it asap. I'll still watch it all at some point given long enough life and opportunity, but...

| I liked the episode overall. I was into the episode. It did feel like a wind things up sort of thing though. Maybe if all the extras were removed and it was just Scully and Mulder and William and maybe TSM it would have been better. All the other extras belonged in earlier episodes? Maybe with car chases and all the running alluded to earlier spread out into a more genuine arc. Maybe The X files should have been The William Arc and all the other separate stories as parallel features because the two elements never really meshed. | |

| I'm kinda with Gillian on this one. IMHO - this would be as good as place as any to leave the series. Their son's alive and safe. The cigarette smoking man & Skinner are most likely dead. Just ride off into the sunset with yer non alien(?) unborn baby. Oh and enjoy being a parent of a teen in yer 70s. | |

| I have had countless conversations with various people about the idea of being uploaded into a simulation and living forever that way.
I always said noone is getting my soul because there is noway in hell they aren't going to use it for something and just turn us into digital slaves....
