| I think we're seeing the death of network TV. I'm cutting my cable tomorrow and it looks like the future is here. The network rating system is antiquated and only counts live viewership and no show will survive that. | |

| i'm honestly surprised network tv has lasted this long, with all the competition. they need another 'Lost' to bring back viewers | |

| I agree. Network tv is in its declining years. I mean there will still be networks and tvs receiving them but momentum will continue to go to non-cable streaming. Subscription viewing. As for MB, I don't care what its ratings are. Will I like the show? If I decide to watch it that is. I haven't even watched the Will and Grace reboot and I enjoyed its earlier incarnation more than that of Murphy Brown. But Roseanne early on spoke to me in some way. I think it was the family members yelling at one another and everyone being right some of the time and wrong some of the time. It just had more depth. I watched the Roseanne reboot and liked a lot of it. Roseanne the person can get stuffed, but the show was fine. | |

| - rumors:
Well Roseanne has said her character dies of an opioid overdose. Not sure I'm buying it, tho for all the anger I could see the writers sticking it to her like that.
So are Davidalan and I the only ones here who will give the Connors a chance?

The answerable part first: I'll give the Connors a chance. The unanswerable part second: I heard that too.

| I'm not sure the show would be watchable without that character.
I'd be willing to give it a shot, but i gotta be honest: i wouldn't go far out of my way to do so. Make a note to watch a particular channel that i already have access to, at a time that i would normally watch tv: sure, i'd even set an alarm on my phone for it; anything more than that: probably not, at least not right away.
Exact same conditions if the show resumes and that harsher rumor is untrue.

| It's like "Archie Bunker's Place" without Archie and of course Edith had died. It would be a funeral. | |

| i may be in the minority, it had 10 million viewers (not as good as the initial season 10 premiere, but a respectable number.) I'm hoping they will move on from Roseanne's demise and get into some good stories about the rest of the group. That first episode did little for me at all, so yep disappointed.
Anybody else bother to watch, have an opinion?

| Did anyone watch or listen to the Rosanne podcast when she was on Rogan ??
I did not know about the whole brain damage thing, put things into perspective for alot of things, and the people around her should have been way more forgiving.
They really fucked her over for no reason, I am very disappointing with how they chose to kill her off.
I really think this was a wake up call for Rosanne tho, and I hope she does say focused on her new projects and staying healthy. _________________ The Sun lit the Earth like never before.
