I didn't expect much out of them - they're not good against San Fran under normal circumstances


I think they're going to bring up Brown soon. Apparently he's tearing it up hitting wise in AAA. Unless a miracle bat shows up on the market.

actually I read about what happened and it sounds like a boggled ball on a would be double play

Well through 12 games we have 7 blown saves, that is not a good thing.

we lost on a couple errors the night before...throwing error by the pitcher and a bobble at second...i think my softball team this year is better than them

that's what i said, he was never hurt, proved he could do it under a microscope in Boston. To me he was worth the money, even if they only got 3 years out of him.

It's even dumber when they decided to put bard in a starters role. I think it was the right thing to do, but for four years they had been grooming him to be a closer.

It's like they had no plan at all during the off season to fix the pitching staff.
they had iffy starters last year, and didn't pick up one new starter.
they had a proven 8th and closer, and don't have either now

Yea, he hasn't impressed me as a starter, should move Bard to close and Aceves as the number 5.

It's like they still have the September hangover. I wouldn't have fired Francona either, especially in favor of Bobby Valentine!

me either, it wsn't his fault they fell on their ases last year, and valentine has done nothing to impress me at all so far. except open his pie hole when he should keep it shut

the sox are too, but they were doing well this weekend, hitting and generally coming around, then valentine had to open his mouth and it seemed like he took any momentum they had and just threw it in the toilet

its a nice stadium...been to a few games there and always sit in the same resturaunt in left field...free drinks and food!

Harry the K's? I sat out there at the last game I attended. It was a rainy night and we ended up getting a rainbow that stretched over the top of the park. This pic is blurry because it was still drizzling and it was taken with my old phone but I like it anyway

i forget the name..but that area from your pic is where we were pretty much..had a waitress friend that would let us cut through the line..and let us eat and drink free as long as we tipped her awesome..lol

the ones with the Phanatic are from an extremely hot day in July - he was in the next section and towards the end of the game a foul ball came towards us and hit about 4 rows in front. This was the 3rd game since acquiring Pence.

i just noticed the Phanatic, i was looking at the hottie with the shorts and white shirt

ahahaha...one of the first things i noticed was the girl in the shorts and white shirt too...tell me that's your best friend and shes single and moving to indiana this month!

i dont do well in hot weather..dont like july games unless its a night game...

betcha 10 bucks the guy in the red shirt 1 row back was checking her out the entire game

that and the rest of the partially naked women - if I remember correctly (and I like to think I do) it is was in the upper 90's and humid.
