who do you have left to get injured? of importance? Hamels and Ruiz the rest is pretty much the AAA and scrap heap veterans which is explains why we lost the last 5 one more month - if they can avoid collapsing for 1 more month, the big guys should be back and they can fill the gap at the trade deadline. I think its inevitable that they go over the luxury tax if they end up buyers If they don't hold on, look for Hamels and maybe Victorino to hit the trade block it was Freddy Galvis who got hurt - 15 day DL

| that's just like the Phillies and Citizens Bank Park
awful, just awful
they were up 3-0 then 2 errors in a row and the flood gates just opened from there
and you can tell when they've given up hope when they put Qualls in. He was good the first 2 weeks of the season then he became a run-giver-upper

the life of a Philly fan is heartwrenching sometimes yeah, it's much easier being a Red Sox fan
you may be the only other city that has the same ups and downs
tghere's only a few cities where fans are as rabid as Philly and Boston. The cubbies have good fans, but i think they are just waiting for them to win before they get that same fever. St Louis is a great baseball town, but even they aren't as hard core where else do fans live and die with each win and loss?? i can't think of many. It why i love being a fan of the Sox, the fan base is literally crazy

| Boston looked unbeatable last night, Bucholz pitcheda great complete game, and the hitting was there. Tonite they are just as likely to get blowed out by Washington. | |

Strasburg is pitching tonite, against up until now has been our best pitcher doubront. Should be a good game, duobrount is pretty good, and if we can get to the kid and use his 100 mph stuff to power some shots over the monster we'll be Ok. their lineup doesn't scare me too much. I know they've been playing well but we got this

| yup, in Baltimore the road has been better for them than home and hopefully they've had enough losing this week we're sending Blanton to the hill so...I don't know he was better last time but Charlie always seems to leave him in 1 inning too long hows Arrieta? that's who we're facing it looks like - n/m - it seems like he's just like Blanton | |

all of their pitchers can either be really good, or get knocked around. i honestly don't think they are long for the top of the AL east, no way they have enough pitching

| sooo...maybe they should fire your teams health people..the trainers and people in charge of work out regimes...the health of your team isnt being taken care of very well...and thats someones fault...unless everyone of these are freak accidents...like Sammy Sosa sneezing and injuring himself for a month..or Kerry Wood going on the DL for slipping into his hot tub... | |

| This was a freak accident - he was batting Their staff is supposed to be good; it's just one of those things The others are mostly playing accidents exacberated (I'm sure that's misspelled but I don't care) by age Polanco is out a few days because a guy climbed up his arm with his cleat when Polly was trying to tag him out; those are the types of freak things that keep happening | |

| ahh i see...i just remember a couple teams in the past gettting rid of their trainers due to stupid injuries like constant pulled hammys and strains...they were preparing them before the games properly..bad stretching and just slacking...didnt kno if that was the case or not..it could happen! | |

Clarke! don't take their side you think I wanted too?? Srasburg took out 13 guys, making them look like little leagers, and harper singlehandely won the game firday. Our pitchers actually pitched OK, but couldn't get any dam hits. We're back under .500 and still inlast damn place.

| the Marlins are a little easier - as long as you get through the first 4, I think you're ok Cliff Lee (the one making over $20 million/yr) does NOT have a WIN this season if he tries any harder, he may just go winless this year Last place, 8 games out. 3 weeks until relief - approx. things that will no longer happen: 1. win the division 2. sign Hamels - they just have too many pieces to replenish. I think he'll be in dodger blue before long. | |

I hope its not too little too late
And Polanco may play tonight. Thank GAWD because Wiggington is awful at 3B. I don't mind him so much at first but he's a big reason why they have had trouble keeping a lead.

They basically said that both are in real trouble, but both can make the wild card and hope for the best in a 1 game playoff.
