there will be few living Bruins fans if they do. news flash, 200 bruins fans were rescued out of the Charles river after thinking the season was over only to find out the Bruins scored 3 goals in 9 minutes of the third period and another in overtime to win 5-4. In other news, toronto has decided that it will no longer field a hockey team and vancouver will now be called the maple leafs I went to bed right after the Leaves scored to go up 4-1, never thought I would be hearing what i heard when I woke up this morning

| It's a funny game sometimes...I didn't think the Wings could come back from being down 3 games to 2...oh, Leaf fans must be tearing out their remaining teeth |

they had call after call this morning on the Boston sports station from people who left the game . i would have left I think, they were getting clearly outplayed until halfway thru the third. Toronto played not to lose instead of putting their skate on the B's throat. next up another Boston /new york match up, with the rangers coming in

| Almost a subway series....Ducks were going to have that if they'd won, they'd be playing the Kings. Altho in LA that'd be more a boulevard series wouldn't it? |

Penguins vs Blackhawks Stanley Cup Don't count out the Wings yet. Can't believe I'm saying that, in the second round, but there it is |

Don't count out the Wings yet. Can't believe I'm saying that, in the second round, but there it is they have alot of playoff experience, it will be tough, the blackhawks are pretty good, but they're holding their own so far. The bruins look pretty solid, considering they are missing 3 of their defensemen and have rookies filling in.

| I know even if they do win the Cup, it will seem tanished by it not being a full season. But hey everybody started with the same level set... |

i'm sure the players won't care, a Cup is a Cup, whether you play 81 or 48 makes no difference to them

Chara is playing like 33 minutes a game that has to wear on a guy, not matter how young or old.

| Oh yeah. Howard was a freaking brick wall. I think the only reason they got the one goal was that they disabled Franzen on the opposite end of the ice long enough to have a mini-power play....Blckhawks had kinda a meltdown at the end of the game, didn't they? |

| Wings were rockin' the Joe last night! Another brick wall performance by Howard...and strangely the Hawks seem to be breaking down. Toews did some dumb penalties, people are being selfish...not to take anything way fro mthe Wings defense that was overwhelming. The Hawks threw everythign at them in the 1st....no go |

| Vancouver, Canada (AP) -A seven year old boy was at the centre of a Vancouver courtroom drama yesterday when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of him. The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge initially awarded custody to his aunt, in keeping with the child custody law and regulations requiring that family unity be maintained to the degree possible. The boy surprised the court when he proclaimed that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he adamantly refused to live with her. When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents, the boy cried out that they also beat him. After considering the remainder of the immediate family and learning that domestic violence was apparently a way of life among them, the judge took the unprecedented step of allowing the boy to propose who should have custody of him. After two recesses to check legal references and confer with child welfare officials, the judge granted temporary custody to the Vancouver Canucks, whom the boy firmly believes are not capable of beating anyone.

| Wow, the penguins need a goalie, and some effort, otherwise this will be short and sweet.
the Bruins played about as well as you can last night, there blue line defense was astoundingly good against what should be an offensive juggernaut

In other sports, a broken leg means an immediate 911 call. In hockey, a broken leg is a poor excuse for not killing a penalty.

| Ha ha....bye bye Cindy Should be a good series.....I heard them talking about that last goal in regulation at the Hawks/Kings game.....the puck was drifting down the ice and it just barely missed a helmet on the ice...if the puck had hit the helmet, the puck couldn't have been iced? |

nope, they said the only combination left i think is Chicago and the rangers that haven't met. I think it will bea good series, Boston has it's team playing exceptionally well right now, and rask has been awesome. some guy in Pittsburgh called him amediaocre goalie at best, well the mediocre goalie kept your team to 2 goals in 4 friggin games buddy
