Season Finale

Anyone watch it? I loved it.

I love love love James Spader! He's one of the best actors around today. I will watch him in almost anything.

I watched last night. I guess Red is Liz's father after all. If not that's a hell of a red herring they've put out there. But did she actually kill Tom? I think I missed what happened to his body.

I don't think Red is necessarily Liz's father. Yes, he has burn marks on his back and the obvious conclusion to draw is that he's her father. But, I don't think it's that simple. I suspect that there will be another twist.

Everyone thought that he was her father right from the beginning. So, I don't think they would give that easy an answer.

I find it intriguing about Berlin, and what Red has to do with that. How is he connected to what happened to Berlin and Berlin's daughter?

Who is Berlin's daughter?

So many great questions to answer for next season!

And, btw- isn't the actor who plays Berlin one of the bad guys from the movie Fargo?

As far as Tom's death - it just seemed like there was a struggle for the gun and it went off during the struggle. So, in that sense, Liz did kill Tom. She didn't have to "finish him off" because he seemed to die from the bullet that went off during the struggle. I'd have to watch it again though.

I though Tom's death was confusing because at the end, didn't they just show the blood streaks? It would be a great twist if he turns up alive next season.

Yeah, I was just thinking about that myself. I'll have to watch it again.

Maybe when Red says her father died in the fire, he's speaking metaphorically - like the person he was died and he was reborn as the criminal he is today?

Or, maybe he was there and responsible for her father's death? If that's the case, then that's 2 fathers of hers he killed.

I hope Tom appears again - maybe he'll turn and actually be on Liz's side.

I have no idea what Red's connection to Berlin is but as he seems to be involved in just about everything criminal they could go in any direction there.
