My only drive-in experience was in High School. I believe I saw Dawn of the Dead.

Dusk till Dawn showings were popular here i remember seeing Clint Eastwoods spaghetti westerns plus Hang'm High at an all nighter

I think most of them got shopping malled by the time I was driving in the mid-70's. I used to go to a bar in one of these shopping malls, still had the posters, film reels, and projector from the drive-in it replaced. Also had an aircraft tail section from a crashed Piper that tried to use the drive-in as a landing strip.
