| And with pitchers and catchers holding their first workout today, let the games begin. Our year naturally begins with quotes by Hamels on how he'd like to be traded. Personally I'd rather hear how they're going to try some of the younger players but instead we're getting the old "Ryan Howard is our 1st baseman". The definition of insanity is doing the same things over and over hoping for better results. | |

| +our new third basemen is fat is all i've heard so far, and that their pitching staff is garbage. i think the staff is OK, not great but Ok, the bullpen is a big question mark, but if our offense can hit around their career averages we should be able to score enough runs to help them out | |

| Pablo? I thought I heard he was actually in good shape this year. I don't think it matters when he's slugging away. I'd be more concerned about Hanley in the OF - that's a lot of running for someone who is known for being lazy.
I think having a pitching staff of stars is overrated - we had 4 aces and did nothing.
It would behoove us to hold on to Hamels until July at this point. As teams start salivating for the playoffs they'll be more likely to pay more.

to me, as long as he hits and gets the balls that are reasonbly within his range I'll be happy. hopefully Xander can move to his right to cover some of them, the sox have a lot of ground ball type pitchers and having a solid infield is gonna be a key for them.

that's pretty normal for him - I think he goes from fat to fatter - I thought he was just fat still not too bad. I remember his performance from I think their last WS - he was smacking HR's left and right. He saw snow for the first time this year - I bet he's already sick of it

| just ordered my first game tickets (yes,I will still go and see them). I ordered field level since that's what I like and now my mother is disappointed because I didn't get hall of fame club (I got free tickets for that last year and now she is spoiled by the "special" seats. She loved that it has its own restaurant and food and bathrooms | |

| He's tired of answering the trade questions so Cliff Lee used a magic 8 ball for his press conference. That guy just likes to have fun. I'd love to see the rest of them pass it around and make it a joke so the reporters stop asking the stupid questions. | |

| we were thisclose to beating the Yankees before a game tying homer in the 9th with 2 outs We tied but I guess that's slightly better than losing. Ryan Howard is batting 1.000 with the first RBI of the season | |

| Sooooo, Cliff Lee seems hurt again. It's a shame - if he needs surgery it could be the end of his career. The Phillies are becoming quite good at putting an end to pitchers' useful lives | |

| I suppose they will just vacuum up the sand when they're done? most of the snow here is gone - I'm left with a 1/2 snow/ice hybrid in the shady sections of the yard. The rest is a really cold swamp. I may another problem at the end of the driveway - the street was bad and rutted before but now that the snow is almost gone, it looks like it took a couple of inches of blacktop with it. I may need to buy a 4 wheel drive just to get in the driveway I may try to locate a number to call the Twp to see if they'll come out to look at it - I'm afraid it could turn into a sink hole. | |

My development has needed to be done for years - PSE&G tore it up when they upgraded the gas lines and it was bad before that. They haven't even done any patch jobs unless an entire car falls through it.

torn flexor tendon he's going to try to pitch through it but I think we can just about say that Clifton's time in a Phils uniform has come to an end. The only bright spot is that his 2016 $27.5 million/$12.5 million/buyout option becomes void.
