I love reading about the playoff chances. At 2-8, Dallas still has a shot but we're 4-5 I think and we have no shot.

the patriots handed that game to the eagles on a silver platter. 3 touchdowns from your defense and special teams, that never happens with them.

WTF was NE thinking kicking on side in the first half with a 2 touchdown lead, that was just stupid and turned the whole game around. you go from being up 2 scores to tied at the half. facepalm

Meanwhile in NJ, the Giants managed to lose again. Mad

They have lost 5 games when leading with 2 minutes left, 4 games leading with 1 minute left. some teams don't do that in a decade, the giants have managed to do it in 3/4 of a season uh

I was watching the Giants game - obviously rooting for a loss.

My favorite defensive TD was the blocked punt.

Darren Sproles should've been made #1 running back from the beginning. Murray just isn't getting it done.

Once again though our penalties were terrible. We gave NE one of their TD's by a 40+ yard penalty :|

Hopefully Washington will lose so I can pretend to have purpose in watching the remainder of the season.

the giants team was probably on the sidelines with a minute left saying" I wonder what's gonna happen this week to make us lose?/

They have to win out to win the division though, and they have they hardest remaining schedule. They may win one more.

I watched 3/4 of the game last night. They were 6-6 well into the 3rd qtr before I fell asleep. Neither team could do much of anything.

And we have losses against both :|

No, Dallas and Washington. We've also beat Dallas.

Did we play the Giants yet? I think we play them the last week.

I believe I called that before the season started. No way we're they going to accept failure. I think I'm a little disappointed that Bradford won't be back. He turned out to be not half bad. He can throw the ball well. Our receivers had the dropsies this season though.

And we now have confirmation that it didn't work lol2

The time of possession thing was definitely wrong. Our defense is completely wiped out having played most of the games themselves.

If the reports are true and Jon Gruden wants to coach the Eagles but Lurie doesn't want him, then the Eagles deserve what they get, there isn't a better coach on the market besides Gruden.

I'm glad to see Washington out of it. I still can't believe how far they made it. Of course, all that means is that they sucked the least in the division.

I was disgusted by the Bengal fans, throwing stuff at Ben Roethlisberger as he is carted off the field, completely uncalled for.

that was an ugly game. I wonder if this will mark the end of marvin lewis' career in cincy, since apparently whether you can win a playoff game or not doesn't seem to matter to them much. lol2

my players have had things thrown at them at other parks though - I think in NY last year or the year before - just fans being assholes

in 2004 Saskatchewan kicker Paul McCallum missed an 18 yard field goal in overtime against BC in a playoff game. Angry Roughrider fans pelted his house with eggs and dumper a load of manure in his yard.

if the ball was sideways he still should have made it, if it was a friggin nerf football he should have made it, it was a 27 yard field goal.

Well Chip most certainly was not vanilla and he ended up setting us back a few years so 32

Speaking of.... Chip to San Fran... Any thoughts?
