I think they will be caught up within the next two seasons, since they are gonna have to combine books 4 and 5, since they run co-currently, we will probably only get two seasons for both books. He needs to stop with all the public appearances and just finish the books lol.

Shit. I was hoping that would be in the finale. I read the books a while ago and they have muddled together.

They should finish the third book by the 5th ep next season, the Red Wedding is about 2/3 through the book, so it is mostly done. I think his wedding will be in the first or second ep next season.

really liked the episode this past sunday...kinda knew about the red wedding cuz i read a bit about it beforehand ..woops....so i wasnt as shocked as the rest of the viewers who havent read the books..(that are complaining all over the web about losing these characters lol) ....get a grip people..even if i never knew what was supposed to happen i wouldnt have minded what happened cuz i never really connected or liked him much in the show...
things i didnt like were the throat slashing scenes...looked really fake..i think they coulda made that more realistic and not have a damn waterfall spray out the front of the throat...but that's minor...also i really dont enjoy the scenes with bran, rickon and them...i think theyre too slow and boring...i assume bran is a key to the story? i hope otherwise i think they waste a lot of screen time on that bunch...
i also loved when the music changed at the wedding to the lannisters battle song and the face of cat...that was eerie ....and i also loved how there was no music for the credits right after those intense scenes..it made the chill and shock factor much more strong...

The music-less credit rolling was chilling.

this coming from a huge fan of spartacus, the series that went thru 3 trailers of fake blood per season, in slow motion??

yeah i know but that was expected over and over and purposely exaggerated ..the creator said that at least..
something about this one on GOT seemed generic though..

I was pulling for Robb to be the King of the North, but I hate Catelyn, so, it's kinda like win one, lose one.

Bran is a huge part of the story, they should have split off from his brother last season when Winterfell burned down, I was wondering when they would split them up.

Desi you should read the books, you would like them, then you could tell Derek the cliffnotes version.
