| Again.......we'll see I'm beyond disgusted at last night....had em in the palm of their hands...this might come back on Leyland, he's notorious for shuffling players....I know Scherzer had thrown a lot of pitchers, but what happened with "go with who's hot"? I was just as happy with Saturday's game though , as I was disappointed in last night's....still think it'll just go 5 games? |

| I was almost laughing during the inning the Tiger's scored their runs - the announcers were really upset that Boston didn't have anyone in the pen warming. Over and over they kept saying it. | |

| We need to make as much noise as Boston's crowd did....I think we're up to it....
And we need to get on top first....once they put that Japanese guy in there...damn...it's lights out isn't it...
Tigers should never have gotten rid of Quinten Berry....their one base stealing threat... |

They've tried to fit Benoit in that role....Valverde was a complete bust, and their young 100 mph phenom Bruce Rondon wasn't yet ready.... |

I thought that for awhile this year, but after losing the close games, and then coming back and pitching well, I think he's gonna be fine. It's his kind of park, lots of room for fly balls, he'll be OK, I'm more worried the bats will continue to struggle against verlander, but he has pitched alot of innings already this post season, so maybe he is just a little off, which is all they will need. Go SAWX!!!!

every time he throws a ball, he hates not throwing strikes. I love the competitor in him, he would rather give up a home run than walk somebody, he comes right at you, saying this is my best shit, see if you can hit it m-effer

| Verlander's pitched 15 innings in the playoffs so far (ERA 0.00), but he's used to long stretches, he throws 100+ pitches more often than not... |

I'm hoping for 100+ pitches by the middle of the 5th inning

| We'll see if they're a bunch of pussies and have been totally overwhelmed by two innings of production, in contrast to 16 of shutting them down...or if they're true Tigers... |

we'll see if they are the team that managed just one run off of Lester, or the one who generated 5 runs off of Bucholz when he got tired. to be honest, i think they got caught with their pants down a little in game 2, farrell should have had someone warmed up in the pen , even though Buch had only given up 1 run, anytime after the fourth/fufth innings, somebody should at least be light tossing in the bullpen, this is the playoffs, and the pitchers should know they are all on shorter leashes and not take it personal if someone is warming up in the pen.

the fans wouldn't allow it here I don't think the organization would either. And Sandberg is already getting a rep for not taking shit like that.

I don't think the organization would either. And Sandberg is already getting a rep for not taking shit like that. mattingly did what he could, he's sat him down and had talks with him, but he would be fired if he didn't let a talent that good to pay. I imagine it would be the same in either St louis or Philly or anywhere else. He does need to get a wake up call, but this is a different era, and when they are good they get accolades young players never did a few years ago.
