Another series LOST, 4-9 at Fenway.

we can get to .500 but we can't seem to climb over

Friday we had some help losing from the umpires - we would've scored the winning run, not once but twice - both ruined by bad calls during the same at bat


I go to the game tonight - looking for a win by Doc

"fourth Outfielder" pitching in the 17th freaking inning,giving up a 3 run bomb, and then have a $154 million dollar player go 0-8, the last time in the 17th, against the other team's designated freaking hitter, resulting in a strikeout

I couldn't believe it, i was listening during the day, then when i went to miove the truck back in the garage at 7, the game was still on!!! I didn't listen or watch the end, i figured they would lose, they need to be up by like 10 runs to win a game, no way they're coming back to win a game like that... My problem is, they had beckett, lester, bard, any one of which could have given them an inning or two, but none of them even volunteered, we had to use darnell Mcdonald

thats crazy...yeah you figure a couple of them could go an inning each or something...

cubs won on a walk off bases loaded walk lol...in the 11th

no, last season we used our backup 2nd baseman for a surprise pitching outing. He won

we ran out of pitchers Friday night after the blown call. our pen is about as good as yours

the pen isn't the real problem, it's the starters getiing blown up by the fourth inning every game that's making it hard for the pen. Atchinson pitches every damn night

actually, I'm staying hopeful. Improvements are there (sometimes). And our ambulance brigade are going to start coming back. Lee will pitch on Wed, I think.

the only sure thing in our pen is Papelbon and he hasn't pitched since last Wed

looks like the sox might have one in middlebrooks, he's had an extra base hit and an RBI in each of his first five games since being called up. I honestly think the sox need a little of the hungry young players to inject a little life into the team

I understand that we traded a lot of guys away (but most of them haven't made it up either) plus we've been picking towards the end in the drafts too. I'm talking about these cheap ass free agents that just seem to come thru.

yeah i think the redsox are in need of a young guy right now...veterans are great but not when thats all there is..like the cubs the last few years...this year has been exciting though..watching all the kids coming up..and next year should be even better when we cut out Soriano
