| 5-11: Philadelphia's record in games started by Cole Hamels, Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee. 7-3: Philadelphia's record in games started by Kyle Kendrick, John Lannan and Jonathan Pettibone. You have to think they can turn THAT around | |

| Well, Halladay got slaughtered last night. Not to be outdone, Durbin gave up several runs as well. I think its time to put the Durbin experiment to rest - he's yet to have a good outing. Go Cliff Lee Delmon Young homered in his first at bat, then got hit by a pitch and singled. Not too shabby. | |

| sox got beat, tokk the lead in the 7th after being behind all game, then gave it back in the bottom of the seventh, and then another run in the 8th.
on the plus side big papi had another good game with a double homer and 4 rbi. he has 11 RBI in like 8 games

| Yea, Papi has played great since he returned, I really wanted them to win last night, it would have been their most wins in April ever. | |

| Tigers take another one....even tho Verlander was mediocre (for him), it was enough..
Ouch to the Phillies, Blondie...damn Ryan Raburn, Tigers spent years trying to get him to blossom, finally let him go, and he starts banging HR's for Cleveland... |

I guess no one told Chooch that his cutter doesn't work anymore. The Nats lost again too so we remain 1 behind them. Some one has to stop Atlanta

I did too, I thought they were gonna pull it out when they scored 3 in the 7th to take the lead, tazawa had one bad pitch, but Hanrahan continues to be unimpressive,

the next game is in Boston, if they take that one, watch the knicks fold. It will be so sweet to watch another boston team come back from a 0-3 deficit against a NY team. I don't like the Knicks, really don't care for carmelo anthony.

| 2-1, a good outing from dempster, and the pen did it's job again.
hopefully bailey isn't hurt bad, I am less than impressed with hanrahan to this point and don't like the thought od depending on him to close for an extended period.
20-8 best record, 9-3 on the road, also the best reacord

| last night was 1 of 4 and if we sweep them I think we end exactly .500 then to Arizona and San Fran - neither are particularly good for us but maybe if they use Miami as a starting point, they can pick it up. The good news is Howard hit another HR, as did Dom so maybe the offense will get started - finally. The pitching is really concerning though - Kyle Kendrick is our current ace | |

| Halladay is going to be like Kendrick used to - great at times but subject to getting killed when he's not 100%.
I can't complain about Lee - he's had 1 bad outing. Hamels is better too - just not getting run support again.

older teams take some time to get rolling, hopefully a good weekend and then a respectable raod trip and you'll be in the thick of things. The sox are headed out to texas, we'll see if their pitching can hold up against their lineup, and then to Minnesota.

| Tigers pull one out in 14...good for them, but it WAS Houston - sorry Rob They deserved to get burned though, walking two intentionally to get to Andy Dirks, he's their secret weapon Another decent outing for Porcello 7 innings, 3 runs, 7 SO, no walks |

| In the "tell me something I don't know" department, Roy Halladay will be heading to the DL with shoulder soreness. What pisses me off the most, is that the company line this WHOLE TIME has been "oh he's fine, we're really encouraged, the last bullpen session was good". I guess since our 4-5 starters are having the most success, it probably will be good to see another one of them in the rotation. | |

| Well Tigers had a VERY good weekend in Houston - sorry Rob I'm sure it wasn't enjyable for you...they sweep the 4 game set with the Astros, outscoring them by some silly number like 37-8...they played the first two pretty close, but Sat and Sun were total blowouts....in a way too bad they're off today, you want to keep a hot team going... |
