| Hey Blondie, what's the reaction up there to the Tebow signing? Seems to me like Chip Kelly is playing fantasy football _________________ He is the Prince who was promised, and his is the song of Ice and Fire

| He's a lunatic. We had close to a Super Bowl team and now we have nothing.
We now have a tebow soft pretzel though. I'll post a link when I get to work.

| Yea, I just don't get what he is doing. All the Cowboy fans down here think they are going to the Super Bowl once they get AP, If they trade for him they are fools, and it will cost them Dez Bryant, who I would rather have over a 30 year old RB. _________________ He is the Prince who was promised, and his is the song of Ice and Fire

| http://6abc.com/food/tebowing-pretzel-philly-pretzel-factory-celebrates-qbs-signing/672758/we have about 5 QB's - two of which haven't seen a playing field in years. But the media and other assorted experts say there's not a chance in hell that Tebow makes the team. When I first heard it, I wondered if he was going to transition to another position (I thought I heard that mentioned about him at one point). Meanwhile - no receivers. We let Maclin walk. We have Jordan Matthews but this is only his 2nd or 3rd year - I don't think he's ready to be #1 yet. To think, at the end of last season I thought we just needed to fix a couple of holes. The team is now unrecognizable and full of hurt and semi-retired players. We can only hope Chip knows what he's doing. | |

| no doubt
he fought for total control of the drafting and roster, they gave it to him, then he went and did this. It's crazy.
time will tell but there's not a lot of hope going into this season.

| I think most are upset. The moves just don't make any sense. Chip Kelly is either the worst head coach ever or the best. There won't be any middle ground. He'll be gone if it doesn't work. | |

| The problem I think is Chip Kelly thinks he's smarter than everybody else and he can make just about anybody a star in his system. I think he's a good coach and has a good system, but I think the moves this offseason have been questionable at best. I read somewhere that someone said he's giving the Cowboys the best chance at a Super Bowl by not being the threat they were last year and thus Dallas having a chance at a very good record and homefield advantage. I pretty much agree with that. | |

We play the Lions on Thanksgiving. meh - I'd prefer Dallas like last year.

Montana to is the best right now, like you said, until and unless Brady can win a fifth superbowl. to me part of being the best is winning it all, and botha brady and montana are better than manning. manning to me, unless he can somehow get at least 3 more superbowls isn't in the conversation of best ever, even if he wins 3 more there would be arguments against him due to his many one and outs in the playoffs. Until he wins more rings is more of a compiler than a greatest ever

me either, yes he has set a number of records, some that may take years to be broken, some that could fall this year, but to have him a greatest ever category you have to look at his playoff record and what he has done in the biggest, most important games, which he falls woefully short. to beat a jacksonville jaguar team with 6 touchdowns in october is in no way equal to beating a patriots or seattle team when it means going to a super bowl or winning one.

| I think the suspension was too harsh. If he had lost the game and gone home to beat the shit out of Gisele he would've only gotten a 2 game suspension. And then only if a video surfaced showing it The NFL needs to seriously look at what message they're sending if they are saying this is about "integrity of the game". | |

| I can see where it might be kind of hard to catch for a ref. They usually toss it underhand to the line judge and are dealing with getting everything ready before the next play. They don't usually grip it the way QB's do. I can see how a ref might miss it being a bit underflated. Brady would notice it, a ref might not. | |

| i think it was too harsh too, there were alot of holes in a report that was supposed to uncover everything. also, no way i would have given them my phone either to look at. To me even if the equipment manager did deflate the balls, which they never really proved, then the equipment manager should be fired and the team fined, but without any type of actual proof that brady explicitly told the manager to let air out of the balls after they were tested then how in the world can they justify a 4 game suspension. also, the report specifically says the team and belichek had no knowledge of it happening, if it even did, so how do you fine the team a million bucks and take away draft picks. he'll fight it and get it reduced but to me the punishment was for being arrogant and not letting them look at his phone not for anything he did other than that because if they had any proof of A. that the balls had air taken out before the game but after the inspection and 2. the Brady was the one who told them to take the balls after they were inspected and let air out of them. they would have incl;uded it in the report. just for the record, I am not a pats fan, and really don't care one way or the other. I do hope that garrapolo wins all the games he plays in and they can flip off Goodell he sucks as far as I'm concerned. also he can cross Bob Kraft off the christmas card list for this year more likely to me is Brady told them I want my footballs at 12.5, that's how I want them, make sure that's where they are, not to take them after the inspection and let air out of them to be below the limit, just that he wanted them as low as the rules allow | |

I was listening to a local sports show yesterday - I'm not sure if this was truth or if he was being an ass - but the refs in that game all had prior injuries and couldn't feel the ball?

I tend to agree that if it was anyone other than the Pats this wouldn't be such a controversy. How much benefit do you actually get from it? The destroyed the other team - no way because of a football's PSI

| To be fair, they offered to let Brady's agent hold his phone and HE look through it and say whether there is anything responsive to their request, ie texts from anyone in the Pats organization regarding the deflating of balls, and they will take HIS word for it if he says there isn't, and they still declined.
I've always been a big Brady fan, I think the guy is one of the best EVER, and I don't hate the Pats. That said I think the suspension is fair. He had to have known, there is NO WAY some low level ball guy is going to take it upon himself to go to the bathroom AFTER the refs checked the air pressure and let out air all on his own. It is in NO WAY conceivable that was done without at least Brady knowing about it, if not with his consent.
