noone enjoyed his time in Boston, he had to know what he was getting himself into, the media here is brutal, and believe me they could have been much much worse than they were

He does say that he didn't do his homework before signing. You'd think Boston executives would have. NY, Boston and Philly - you can't just bring in anyone. They need to be prepared to be loved and crucified depending on the day of the week. lol2

So, it looks like I won't be able to make it to Jupiter while I'm in Florida because I got the dates of when the Cards were playing "at home" mixed up. SO! I think I'm going to go see the Red Sox, just to catch some baseball. Ez and Vod, I'll take pics for you.

Howard's Achilles took a year and a half for him to look healthy again.

yeah, new concerns now about his health Sad

He says he's ok, but he said that last year right up to the point where he hit the DL for 2 months

We'll see - I need for him to be bad for more than one spring training outing to say he's hurt.

I had no idea he was/may be hurt. Tigers still haven't done enough for their pitching. The kid who started yesterday - Drew Smyly - is one of those young arms battling Rick Porcello for the 5th spot.

Well, he's not supposed to be; velocity has been down but he is getting older. The first 2 appearances he was pretty good so I'm inclined to believe that something else is going on. He says he was just tired from some extra work outs.

Honestly, I only miss Gonzalez of the guys we sent, he will be solid for the Dodgers, but I think Beckett's best days are behind him, and Crawford is, well Crawford. tongue
