Or the last 2 or 3 eppies, it has been such a long break. I certainly hope, Charlies acting has improved, during the break.

I am so sick and tired of shows taking mid season breaks.

The writers don't seem to have enough storylinre in the can to make it fill up a season...either that, or it's all they could get from the network....we all know how reluctant the networks are to give a new show more of a chance...

Has anyone been watching since it returned? I think it has been getting really good.

It's gotten much better, the closer they got to the (Dark ) Tower...haven't seen last night yet...Rachel's making it really hard to like her though, actually Miles is a more sympathetic character...hope this isn't the end of it all...

It has been renewed for a second season, next week is the finale. It is hard to like Rachel, she needs Sawyer to make her likeable,er, wrong show.

She was MUCH more likable in Lost, in V for that matter...

Yea, I think they took too long of a winter break, and then they didn't advertise it coming back so a lot of viewership lost interest.

I haven't watch this new season. Lost interest.

I like it. Not a fan of Rachel. But she is growing on me.

The timeline has always bothered me, as we did not know when it started. Or rather, I did not know. I assumed it, was this year, but in the bunker, Rachel said, it belonged to Cheney, and the monitor, Ben was using, was really old school. I am thinking prior to 2008

Ok, someone pointed out to me, that saw a picture of Obama, in Cheneys "undisclosed location" I did not see it.

That still does not rule out, the old timey computer monitor Ben was using. I had to replace my monitor in 2008 or 2009, and all I could find were flat screens.

Yes the events in the show are 15 years after the blackout. The blackout apparently happened in the Obama administration, as he's the last President on the wall in the VP's bunker.

The show's definitely gotten better for me. So what do the bunker people mean when they say that Rachel could set the world on fire, if she turns the power on? They showed lightning in the preview, so I'm thinking it has to do with some huge electric storm of some sort?

Looks like Tom & Jason are going to try to overthrow Munro via mutiny..and are Munro and Miles going to electromagnet each other to death? Questions questions

I think there is a chance that all those nanobite things that are in the air could catch on fire, I hope Monroe makes it through the finale, he is a good bad guy.

yea for some reason i "like" monroe.....maybe they can all join forces against something greater than themselves

Hopefully unite against Nevelle, I really don't like or trust him.

I want to know what happened to cause the rift between them, and how it became Monroe's Militia, it seemed like Miles should have been in charge in the beginning.

The bunker people have been underground for 15 years, our merry band of rebels, have been fighting for survival for 15 years, who do think is going to win that fight?

Monroe is crazy paranoid, and I am not sure Neville, if given power would retain any of his, already low, moral compass.

I always wondered about that Militia name.

The rift? I am guessing Monroe did something so hideous, Miles could not take him anymore. He did try to kill him. That would cause a rift.

I think Monroe did something really hideous, that Miles could not take it anymore.

That ship is long gone

But, do you think that Miles was in charge before he split, maybe it was the Maddison Militia before then.

I don't know. I really don't. Maybe he was, and it turned out Monroe was a better planner, (raids and such) and Miles was better at leading and training the men.

I would really like an answer to that question. Yes, I do like the fast paced eppies, but I would like to know, more history of the characters.

Ok, I did tons of yard work today, and I am uber tired and should be going to sleep, but my brain is working over time.


Tomorrow night, Rachel and Co, are going to try and turn the lights on. Whether we see that happen or not, (probably be a cliff hanger), it could have severe repercussions.

One is the nanibote thingys, setting the world on fire. And, apparently killing people,with those, computer chip thingys, that keep them alive.

Second, for anyone, who has read The Stand, we all know what happened, when they turned on the power in Boulder, there was a massive overload at the power company. and they had to go door to door, to turn off the electricity.

In Revolution no one has had electricity in years, and as such, there should not be an overload. But that leads to a question. Did people disconnect their power lines, to their homes? Pretty sure, they had nothing plugged in. Did they disable the power companies? If they did not, how damaged are the power lines, and power companies? I mean 15 years is a long time. I watch Life After People, and that show is really creepy. It shows how easily, stuff decays without people taking of it.

Since,I am on a roll, I have a severe issue, with the computers used by, Ben and whats her name, the black lady, both used monitors, that IMO were from the 80's. They looked like what I used when in the Army. (And Michael used on LOST) Yet, Norad (Dark Tower) had the top of the line flat screens, that had been in place for 15 years.

I know for a fact, that, the all branches of the Military, will spend every bit of their their money budgeted to them,as to not lose any of it. And if that means new computers for everyone, they will do it. So, IMO, Ben and Co, should have had top of the line computers.

I know, I am over thinking this show, but I blame LOST for making me question, why some folks were using out dated computer and monitors.

And if, Revolution would give us a date, as to when the blackout happened, I would not be questioning, anything.

They didn't take computers with them during the blackout, just the power drive usb things. I think they just built those computers out of scraps.

Interesting twist to end the season, I wonder who the President is.

I thought about what Iggy said about the Stand while watching it. In that story they had to fix and get the local power station back on line. That should have applied here too. The power plants would have to be in shape, burning coal, boiling water and lots more to the process to generate the electricity to power the lights etc. After 15 years all these stations would have been dead, rusted and broken like the one where we first saw the helicopter lift off. (also nuclear power stations would be having melt downs)

And someone mentioned how easy it was to use simple dynamite to get into the blast grade doors at the main entrance. Places like that are supposed to be a lot harder to get through.

Isn't it fun (because it makes you feel smart) to nit pick technical details on shows like these! I love it haha!

Character wise, I'm wondering if Mrs. Neville was in Atlanta like the Georgia president was. Is she gonna be nuked?

They had more than just dynamite, they had C-4 too, it would do the trick.

lol, it does not make me feel smarter, it makes me pissed off at the writers, that they would think we would not question, what they are showing. lol. Mrs Neville, is just as evil as her hubby, if she dies, she dies, maybe her son, will realize his father is a nut job, and get as far away from him as possible.

I find highly improbable that anyones lamps were still plugged in after 15 years.

And why on earth did Randall set off bombs? I am interested into seeing who is the President, and finding out what year the black out happened. And why has he been in hiding for 15 years?

i enjoyed the finale quite a bit more than i expected i would...there are many flaws in the show about what would or should happen if this or that really happened..but i try to remember its a tv show for entertainment....they can bend the rules...i mean there arent really smoke monsters and there arent really dragons like on the GOT...Spartacus was based on true events but the blood shed and clothing (them wearing next to nothing during that winter storm and being fine) was exaggerated

i really liked the lightning scene..the mysterious president scene..the myles and monroe scenes.....and the missile launch was kinda cool...i have no idea what season 3 would be like or where theyre headed with the story..but thats kinda fun :)

It will be season 2, not 3. But well said. I like it, I hope Miles and Monroe team back up before it is all said and done.

He said he was blowing up Philly and Atlanta so that there was no one in charge on the East coast, so the President can return to Power, as well as the United States.

No, they just took a mid season break, it was all Season 1.

Nope just season 1 so far. It just seems like two seasons because it was broken up in half with such a long winter and spring break.

I liked the lightening scene too.

I worry about Jason. He's still under his dad's rule and Charlie and gang shooting at them didn't help. Who CAN the poor kid trust?


Oh and another technical goof would be fuel. Fuel goes bad after X amount of time and yet they had perfectly good fuel for (generator at the light house) trucks, cars, and choppers. I know we're supposed to 'suspend disbelief' and what not, but it's still fun to nitpick.

EZ, I highly doubt that. Norad, is build from solid stone. The walls/door area to Norad, are built deep into the ground. The door, is at least a foot thick, and built to withstand an atomic bomb. And if on the rare chance, you get past that door, there are more doors to get through. I am not trying to be argumentative, but Norad could withstand, the explosives Neville had placed there.

Trust me,I have used C-4, it could blow a hole through anything, NORAD is built into the Rocky Mountains, therefore it has a little extra protection.

Well, since I know nothing about C-4, I will take your word for it. lol. I am not researching, how much C-4 it takes to blow open a 25 ton blast door.

i used C-4 today when i locked my keys in the car to open the door...didnt work at all...
