| Got to see a no hitter go to the last out in the 9th. Was heartbreaking but also awesome to be there. | |

| Tigers magic number down to 1, thought the Sox were going to hold the Indians down last night....I think they should bench Cabrera until the playoffs start, give him time to heal that groin.... |

I think they should play him more, make him run, maybe put him in the outfield

depends on if they can keep the best record, right now they will play the wild card winner, but Oakland is only a game or so behind. I'm hoping Cleveland can keep winning, and then take out Tampa, i would love to see Tito come back to Boston for a playoff series. But to be honest, I don't care who they play, there isn't a team that really scares me, the Sox are capable of beating any one of the playoff teams, and haven't lost more than 3 in a row all year so i like their chances in a series with anybody

they're done, I don't think they have any fight left in them I'm just hoping the sox put a better show on tonight than they did last night they missed a chance to make it much harder for oakland to get best record

for 2 stinkin games in the middle of a playoff run it is ridiculous, I say thery can play them up thru august, then the last month should be all AL all the time preferably in the division as much as possible, makes for better drama, and you get games that actually may mean something

| They can't anymore since Houston moved to the A.L., now there are 15 teams in both leagues so someone always has interleague play _________________ He is the Prince who was promised, and his is the song of Ice and Fire

Thats awesome JJ, good game to be at. It was. Don't know if I'll ever be at another no-hitter ever again...heartbreaking but yes, still awesome. And we won. This division race is crazy in the NL central...it's gonna come down to the wire. Blondie....I enjoyed watching Brat Harper lose.

| 15-5, ellsbury makes a difference in the first inning. 2 games up for the best record, with 3 to go. as much as I like ellsbury, I honestly think it's more important to re-sign salty, if they can sign ells great, but salty I think is more affordable, and in the long term more important to the pitching staff | |

I'm thinking he won't go there, they will be spending a fortune if they want to keep cano, there are a few other teams that have the money, he might look good in a Philly uniform, but ya never know, the sox may just be able to re-sign him, at any rate, he looked pretty good last night for a guy with a broken foot, and it will definitely help the team having him for the playoffs 3 games in fenway Mid atlantic, then a few days off til they hopefully play Tito's Injuns

And he's a Boras - we don't do much business with him I think they are concentrating on righties again - our whole line up is left handed. I do think they will look for a CF though - Revere wasn't bad before he got hurt but we are seriously lacking power and he has none.

I'll ask but they seem intent on nailing down having one of the worst records this year - I hope its on purpose so they can get a protected draft pick

I honestly can't see anyone giving him 300 million. the best he may get, and should be happy as shit with, is 5 years and 150 million. He isn't worth that either but the yanks may agree to it to keep him. he, like ellsbury is worth about 15 to 18 a year for 5 years tops

I've heard the Dodgers are going after the latest Cuban defector for second but even then - they can't go THAT high on their payroll - wait until they see all the luxury tax money they're already pissing away The Yanks too - they're trying to get down to a more managable payroll. I could be wrong but I really don't see it happening - who's left that even has remotely that much money? Half of the MLB won't spend that much on their entire team

why not? That'll be the best reason to watch that match up (Yanks vs. Astros)
