this kind of crap has been going on for years
its not without reason that its been called the National Felony League by many

i find it amusing that some in the NHL office are trying to get fighting completely out of our game so
it will appeal more to American viewers

who are these Americans that will tolerate thugs in the NFL (present company excluded) but find
two guys going toe to toe on the ice offensive

I think there should be more fighting in Hockey I don't think there is enough.

I thought people only watched hockey for the fights

the old joke is ..." I went to a fight last night and a hockey game broke out"

6000 penalties in the first half but the one play without a flag ended with two players leaving the game. Maclin was sandwiched between two cardinals players: helmet to helmet to helmet. Maclin is bleeding from his ear.

The Packers are averaging 40 points a game at home this season, regardless of the Defense. I would be more worried about the Eagles if Foles was healthy, but I will take Mark Sanchez all day, the Eagles were Super Bowl Contenders with Foles, I don't think they make the playoffs without him.

Foles wasn't putting up dynamite numbers - too many interceptions - they'd be undefeated if he was as good as he was last season.

I really don't know much about Sanchez - as far as prior playing. He's done well in limited time this season. Our offensive line is almost put back together - if they can give him a chance to throw the ball and/or give McCoy room they should be ok

We should make the playoffs anyway. Our only competition in the division is Dallas and we should handle them just fine.

Only a couple of hours until we get a preview. Hopefully a year off will have done him some good.

Speaking of the Jets - Michael Vick strikes again. I'm glad they took down the Steelers. I still can't stand Rothlesburger.

cheesesteaks pack up well The news filmed him at Pat's and Geno's last night. As soon as he got out of his truck, fans started giving him food. I hope his new found celebrity doesn't go to his head.

That was probably the best I've seen from our defense too - 9 sacks; 20 something points on turnovers.

Well the screaming came true.  Birds forgot to bring their defense today.

Green Bay is pretty unstoppable at home, they have scored over 40 in every home game this season, and Aaron Rodgers is bar none the best quarterback in the NFL!

They were unstoppable.  And we generally suck on 3rd down.

I finally turned it off in the 3rd after that interception.  It was movie time 

Hey EZ, great game yesterday, I really think that those two teams will be meeting again in the Super Bowl. The pack looked really good until they got in the red zone against the pats, and if it weren't for the sack at the end it may have had a different ending.

the pats were missing their best pass rusher, who may make a difference, and were able to shut down that offense for all of the second half.

Yea, it was a great game, I just hope the pack can sustain this momentum

that's the first real terst they have had in weeks, and they performed fairly well. I don't think you have anything to worry about. I really thought the pats were gonna pull of a win at the end but the d came up big when they needed to.

my fantasy team scored 150 pts and i had a WR that didnt even play...

I expect the Packers to run the table for the rest of the regular season, playoffs is any body's guess

we have Seattle, Dallas, Washington then the Giants to finish - I think we could go undefeated as well.

the pats have a tough one coming up in san diego, then division opponents for the rest of the season. ( FTR- I'm a Giants fan, but since I live in New England .... and the gints blow, I have been following the pats this year as i cannot root for any NFC east team)

If Dallas plays anywhere near what they did last week, forget it. And next time its in Philly so I don't give them much of a chance. We have our own little home win streak going.

Seattle doesn't scare me - they're not the team they were last year.

We will win the division - too many things would have to go wrong for that not to happen.

I am not a cowboy fan, but I wouldn't write them off yet

neither did any of the "experts" before that last game.

It'll be fun to see if they manage to win a game this month

You know they are undefeated on the road right? I guarantee they win against the Bears on Thursday, and probably against Washington too, that gets them to 10 wins, which of course is irrelevant this year because the road to the Super Bowl goes through Green Bay!

Chicago is 5-7 and Washington is 3-9; not exactly like playing the Eagles.


You will NEVER get me to say that Dallas stands a chance. Especially in Philly. Never.

Just saying, don't let your hatred for them cloud your judgment, I hate the Bears, but I do acknowledge when they are better than bad, which is where I would rank the Boys( AND the Eagles)
